The mission of SQS is to accelerate the improvement of student achievement and system performance in New Mexico schools by:
- Promoting the use of Baldrige Criteria and Quality Concepts as the basis of an integrated education system
- Promoting leadership and direction to statewide and local initiatives that support the vision of SQS
